Meet Dr. Natalie
Hi, I’m Natalie, the founder and director of the FearlessGrad program. I have my PhD from Cornell University in Environmental Engineering where I was awarded a highly competitive fellowship through the National Science Foundation.
I also created more opportunities for myself during my PhD and secured funding for a research grant in Melbourne, Australia. I have my M.S. from North Carolina State University where I again secured full funding. During my undergrad at Michigan State University, I received individual scholarships each year. Can you tell I’m motivated and ready to help others do big things?
I previously worked in tech R&D, and now live in South Carolina with my husband and three kids. I think at every turn, people will tell you not to do things because of XYZ reasons, and especially as a woman or non-binary person, those reasons also involve family obligations. I go after my dreams because of my family, not in spite of them. I’m a total Aquarius - extremely independent and analytical. I love talking about big ideas and going against the status quo. If you want to get me riled up, tell me I can’t do something. Then we’ll see. ;)
FAQS
Financial consultants provide financial advice and guidance to individuals and families. They can help you develop a financial plan, choose investments, save for retirement, and protect your assets.
When choosing a financial consultant, it is important to consider their experience, qualifications, and fees. You should also make sure that you feel comfortable working with them and that they understand your financial needs and goals.
Financial consultants and financial planners are both financial professionals who can help you manage your finances. However, there is a key difference between the two. Financial consultants typically focus on providing advice on specific financial products and services, such as investments, insurance, and retirement planning. Financial planners, on the other hand, take a more holistic approach to financial planning and can help you develop a comprehensive financial plan that covers all areas of your financial life, such as budgeting, debt management, and estate planning.
